ANNOUNCEMENTS:

1-3-2011. The following announcement is not directly SGA-affiliated but does affect everyone at the HSC and will be bought before the SGA for endorsement.  

The Friends of the UTHSCSA Walking Trail is a student organization seeking to expand the public’s knowledge of the UTHSCSA walking trail (www.uthscsa.edu/facilities/).  We promote the community’s usage of the trail as a means of improving health as well as to enjoy the atmosphere it brings to the surroundings.  We are beginning a fundraising effort to augment the currently-planned amenities of the walking trail by increasing community involvement in the project.  Our goal includes providing increased safety along this trail by lighting the path with always-on and motion-sensing solar lights.  All funds collected will be used solely for the placement of solar lights on the walking trail.  http://www.thepoint.com/campaigns/campaign-0-1705 .  A handout is included in the file section below.

1-27-2011. Third Year Advice Packet

Dr. Fuller, my psychopath small group leader, created a packet that provides advice for second years going into third year.  It is well written and a gives a little perspective to what we might face in a couple months.  It is titled Third Year Advice from Dr Fuller.pdf.
